National Fallen Firefighters Memorial
As most of you know, Fairbury Rural Fire had a member honored at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial, the first weekend in May, along with three other Nebraska firefighters.

At the time of writing this we are in Grand Island getting things set up and ready for Fire School. This is always a fun week that I look forward to.
A house fire in the early hours of Thursday, May 11th claimed the life of 80-year-old Diane Bagley of Hurley.
June brings a slate of SDFA meetings and events during State Fire School week. I have several items for new and refresher information this month.

A house on the Lake Lena Reservation was fully engulfed on April 3. Duxbury Fire was called out for mutual aid to Danbury Fire Department at 8:30 p.m. They were out of water.
