2015 South Dakota Fire School Evolutions Planned

Planning for evolutions are underway as the Pierre Fire Department prepares for the 2015 State Fire School in June.  Races will include 3-person firefighter and women’s teams as well as 5-person firefighter races. Full evolutions rules can be downloaded by visiting the South Dakota Firefighters website which includes rules and drawings of the setups. 

     The evolution committee, consisting of representatives from Yankton, Beresford, Madison, Fort Pierre, and Belle Fourche, was formed to coordinate the evolutions and set up along with overseeing the equipment, which is currently housed at the host department, Pierre, and the trailer will go home with the 2016 host, Sioux Falls, at the closing of the 2015 school. The judging is provided by the state fire school board.
