Junkyard fire

     On July 4, most of the Pine County area fire departments had trucks in the Finlayson 4th of July parade, blasting horns and sirens. Two hours later they were all at a huge junkyard fire. Five departments responded including Sandstone, Bruno, Askov, Hinckley and Duxbury, plus the DNR and Essentia Ambulance for a firefighter down with the heat (temperature over 90 degrees).
