Thank you to the Forest City Fire Department and their families and the community for hosting a great convention. They did a fantastic job and everyone had a great time.
This is my first article as President. Before addressing my agenda, I want to thank a few people. First, and most importantly is my sweet young bride, Michelle.
Greetings from your NSVFA office! Memberships continue streaming in the office daily at a heavy pace. As of this morning, over 140 departments have already renewed their memberships!
As with every article including my last as President, I hope this finds everyone safe and doing well. As I finish out my final days leading this association, I want to say thank you.
When attending the Annual NSVFA Conference in Kearney Oct. 19-21, there are many other things to consider doing while in Kearney, when the conference isn’t in session.

Dell Rapids Fire and Rescue and Prairie Dogs Search and Rescue held disaster training at The Retreat at Pointer's Ridge, Saturday, August 19.
Wentworth Fire and Rescue held a two-day extrication class for area departments September 9-10. Members from Nunda, Chester, Madison, Colman and Wentworth attended classes.
